Lady Bomber softball win highlights Monday results

In high school softball Monday, Mountain Home picked up a 10-0 win at home over Clinton. Kaylee Crownover, Lauren Loving and Reagan Hasselwander combined on a two-hitter.
Offensively, Sidnie Zimmer drove in two runs, stole two bases and scored twice and Bella Bevel drove in two runs.
The Lady Bombers improve to 7-5.
In the J.V. game, Mountain Home defeated Clinton 7-0. Hasselwander, Kinsey Raley and Tori Ross combined to throw a no-hitter.

In baseball action, Izard County defeated Calico Rock 10-2. Chase Orf drove in three runs and Eli Johnson and Dylan Tharp each had two hits and drove in a run.
Orf was also the winning pitcher, working five innings and allowing one run.
The Cougars improve to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the 2A/1A-3 District.

Mammoth Spring was an 11-3 winner over Norfork. The Bears improve to 6-6 overall and 5-2 in the 2A/1A-3.
