The Mountain Home Junior High track teams both earned first place finishes Wednesday at the Junior Bomber Relays at Bomber Stadium. Twelve teams took part in the event.
The Junior Bombers amassed 148 points to edge out second place Pocahontas who had 136 points. Melbourne was fourth, Yellville-Summit finished fifth, Salem was sixth, Mammoth Spring finished seventh, Harrison was eighth, Flippin ninth and Bakersfield finished tenth.
On the girl’s side, Mountain Home had 110.5 points while second place Melbourne had 94. Salem finished fourth, Yellville-Summit was fifth, Harrison was seventh, Flippin finished eighth, Bakersfield was ninth, Cotter 11th and Mammoth Spring was twelfth.
