MH soccer sweeps Greenbrier

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams picked up a pair of wins at home Thursday night over Greenbrier.

The Lady Bombers battled the Lady Panthers to a 0-0 tie through regulation but won 4-3 in penalty kicks. Lauren Helmert, Emma Jones, Grace Beckham and Sarah Swonger scored in the shoot out to secure the win.
Goal keeper Victoria Bevel had four saves in the first half. Emma Martin took over in net in the second half and had five saves in regulation and one on the penalty kicks.
The Lady Bombers improve to 6-2-2 on the season. Greenbrier falls to 9-2.

The Bombers were 1-0 winners over Greenbrier. Ewan Platt scored the game’s only goal on a penalty kick in the second half.
Mountain Home out-shot the Panthers 14-4.
The Bombers improve to 7-0 on the season.
