MH softball team gets edged out by Harrison

The Mountain Home High School softball team had a rough outing Friday as they were edged out by Harrison 4-3. Lauren Loving suffered the loss after pitching a complete game, striking out three batters and giving up two earned runs. Bella Bevel led the Lady Bomber offense with two hits, a run and two RBIs; Marcie Cudworth provided two hits, scored a run and stole a base; Maly Tabor had two hits and a run; and Addison Yates added a hit and an RBI. Mountain Home falls to 8-8 on the season.

Mountain Home fared better in the junior varsity game as they defeated Harrison 8-1. Reagan Hasselwander picked up the win in the circle. The J.V. Lady Bombers were led by Chassie Whitlow with two singles and two RBIs.

Mountain Home will return to Freedom Field at McClain Park Monday to host Melbourne.
