MHHS soccer sweeps Vilonia at home

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams picked up a pair of wins at home Tuesday night over Vilonia.

The Bombers blasted the Eagles 8-0. Paul Athicomnanta had two goals and an assist for Mountain Home, Seokwoo Choi and Ewan Platt each had a goal and two assists, Danny Goioechea found scored a pair of goals, Chris Matusiak and Joseph Spurlin each had goals and Talyn Benton and Koby Weber each had two assists. Hunter Beshears had four goal saves.
The Bombers improve to 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the 6A/5A-2 District.

The Lady Bombers defeated Vilonia 3-0. Chloe Nosari led the way with a pair of goals and Emma Jones also found the net. Emma Martin made three saves.
The Lady Bombers improve to 9-3-2 overall and 7-1 in district play.

The Mountain Home soccer teams travel to Jonesboro Friday to face Valley View.
