MHHS and 9th baseball cancelled, other games still scheduled

Baseball and softball make up much of the local Friday schedule.

The Mountain Home High School baseball team was scheduled to go to Siloam Springs Friday afternoon, but the games have been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

Mountain Home’s freshmen squad was scheduled to begin play in the Springfield Kickapoo Tournament but Friday’s game has been cancelled.

Also cancelled Friday is Cotter at Mammoth Spring.

Elsewhere, Norfork makes the trip to Shirley, Flippin heads to Imboden to take on Sloan-Hendrix, Yellville-Summit travels to Huntsville for a doubleheader, Bruno-Pyatt hosts Deer, Gainesville makes the trip to Bradleyville, Dora entertains Eminence, Salem heads to Calico Rock, Melbourne travels to Mountain View, Marshall is home against Valley Springs, Lead Hill hosts Alpena, and Bergman entertains Green Forest.

In high school softball, Izard County at Norfork, Sloan-Hendrix at Flippin and Highland at Salem are cancelled.

Yellville-Summit makes the trip to Bergman, Gainesville entertains Mansfield, Marshall hosts Mountain View, and Rural Special heads to Lead Hill.
