The sixth-annual Southern Missouri Invitational Baseball Tournament begins its two-day run. Dora meets Van Buren at noon at West Plains. At Dora, Bakersfield faces Plato at 2:00, and Gainesville takes on Ellington at 4:00.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Bruno-Pyatt, Norfork entertains Melbourne, Flippin is home against Marshall, Viola travels to Valley Springs, Calico Rock makes the trip to Strawberry to play Hillcrest, and Omaha hosts Decatur.
The Mountain Home freshmen squad will be across the state line for a doubleheader with West Plains. The first game gets underway at 4:30.
