Rosters have been released for this summer’s Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Games, and a total of eight area athletes were invited to compete.
Hannah Pfeifer of Mountain Home was one of four local graduating seniors selected for the girls’ game. Pfeifer will be joined on the West squad by Marleigh Dodson of Norfork. On the West team, Cheyenne Shelton will represent Mountain View, and Leah Shellnut will represent Jasper.
In the boys’ contest, Mammoth Spring’s Sagen Godwin will play on the East roster. The West squad includes Jacob Loggins of Marshall, Skyler Young of Harrison and Garrett Matlock of Omaha.
The All-Star games are scheduled for June 23rd at the Farris Center on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. The girls’ game tips off at 1 p.m. followed by the boys’ contest.
