Dietsche, Wehmeyer sign with Arkansas Tech

Two Mountain Home High School basketball players will remain teammates as they move on to the collegiate level. Seniors Garrett Dietsche and David Wehmeyer signed national letters of intent Monday to join the men’s basketball program at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.

Wehmeyer says he and Dietsche decided to become Wonder Boys after visiting the campus and experiencing a family-like atmosphere.

Dietsche says he is looking forward to continuing to play with someone he spent a portion of his childhood as teammates.

Mountain Home head coach Josh Fulcher was in attendance for Monday’s signings, and he is looking forward to seeing what they can do together on the college level.

Garrett is the son of Jeremy Dietsche and Tracy Donahue of Mountain Home. David is the son of Bill and Dana Wehmeyer of Mountain Home.
