MH softball splits double header at Searcy

In high school softball Tuesday, Mountain Home split their double header at Searcy.

Mountain Home took the first game 5-2. Lauren Loving got the win in the circle. At the plate, Addison Yates ripped a pair of triples and drove in three runs and Grace Gilbert had a pair of hits.

Searcy won the second game 12-11. Maly Tabor had two hits, drove in two, scored twice and stole a base; Gilbert had two hits and an RBI; and Courtney Green drove in two runs.

The Lady Bombers are now 12-14 overall and finish district play at 2-10. They will host Pine Bluff Saturday in the first round on the 6A East Conference Tournament.
