Three building permits issued in March

Three building permits were issued by the City of Mountain Home during the month of March, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.

The permits were issued to Thomas Embach for two three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath homes. One home has a construction value of $87,000, and the other is valued at $82,000. Another permit was issued to Embach for a six-bedroom, four-bath duplex ,with a construction value of $172,000.

The total value of the three permits issued in March was $341,000.

A permit for a remodel to the McDonalds located at 1019 Highway 62 East was issued to the Farnsworth Group at a construction cost of $525,000.

A sign permit was issued to the McDonalds located at 2942 Highway 62 East with a construction cost of $15,000.

A nonresidential construction permit was issued in March to Lawrence Watson, for a storage building, with a construction value of $3,120 and to Joey Pegler for a detached storage building with a construction value of $35,000.

Other permits were issued to Jane Perry Ketchum, for a driveway, with a construction cost of $1,000 and to Charles R. Stewart, for a replacement and extended driveway, with a construction cost of $9,000.

Hillrey’s White River Smoker was given a 30-day sales permit, with a permit cost of $50.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of March totaled $974,120, including the actual cost of the building permits at $2,460, $35 for mechanical permits, $204 for plumbing permits and $15 for a lot split.

The city building and inspection department handled 56 inspections for the month.
