In high school softball Thursday, Izard County rallied to win their opening game of the 1A-2 North District Softball Tournament at Viola. The Lady Cougars scored three runs in the seventh inning, then got the game winner in the 8th to top Norfork 10-9.
The Lady Cougars move on to the semifinals and also qualify for the regional tournament next week at Izard County.
