There will be plenty of action Saturday at McClain Park as the Mountain Home High School baseball and softball teams begin postseason play. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will have home field advantage as the 6A-East Conference Tournaments get underway.
Mountain Home’s baseball team will be paired with Jacksonville in the first round. The Bombers come into the tournament at 9-17 on the season with the number three seed. The Titans are the sixth-seeded team. The first pitch on Pitts Field is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Mountain Home softball team’s opening opponent will be Pine Bluff. The Lady Bombers are the fourth-seeded team with a record of 12-14. The Fillies come to Freedom Field as the number five seed. Action begins at 2:00.
