A report of an alleged domestic violence situation in progress Thursday night has led to the arrest of three area residents. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, 23-year-old Joseph Rowden and 33-year-old Justin Hickman, both of Mountain Home, have been arrested on felony possession of drug paraphernalia charges. Twenty-five-year-old Caitlyn Bradford of Yellville was arrested as well on an active warrant out of Marion County.

Rowden and Hickman were booked and released on a $2,500 bond and released the same day. Bradford was in the custody of the Marion County Detention Center as of Friday morning. The Marion County Sheriff’s website did not indicate the amount of her bond at the time of this report.

According to the arrest affidavit in the case, officers responded to a residence on Baer Street in reference to a physical domestic in progress. Prior to officer’s arrival, dispatch advised one of the individuals was leaving in a jeep. When officers arrived they made contact with Hickman and Rowden in the vehicle.

When questioned, both denied anything was going on. An officer noticed a cloth bag in the center console and observed a glass cylinder protruding from the bag. The pipe contained a white residue. A search of the vehicle found a plastic box containing digital scales, three cylinders, a plastic straw, tweezers and rolling papers. All items had crystal residue on them, according to the report.

Hickman allegedly stated there was a methamphetamine pipe in the house in his bedroom and gave consent to search. Upon entering the residence, officers determined there were no signs a domestic incident had taken place.

Bradford was found hiding in a closet. She was placed under arrest and later transported to the Baxter County Detention Center.

Upon searching the residence, officers located multiple glass pipes with residue, multiple glass pipes with marijuana residue and numerous other items of drug paraphernalia. They also found a backpack with digital scales, a glass pipe with marijuana residue, a spoon with residue, 20 pills and a package of rolling papers.

Rowden allegedly admitted the backpack was his.

All three are scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court.
