John Shrum of Gassville entered guilty pleas to charges in two drug-related cases during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.
The 30-year-old Shrum was picked up in Gassville in early December last year and in Cotter this month.
In both instances, the vehicle which Shrum was driving was stopped by officers for various traffic infractions and drugs and drug paraphernalia were found.
Shrum was sentenced to 12 months in one of the Community Correction centers in the state, plus six years probation.
