The 17th-annual Greater Cotter Trout Festival will be a two-day celebration for the community. This year’s event, sponsored by the Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce, will be held Friday and Saturday at Big Spring Park in downtown Cotter.

The festivities begin with a kick-off party Friday beginning at 4:30 at the park pavilion. Warrior Cafe will cater a BBQ dinner.  A quick art draw will be included in the party. Warrior Cafe owner and festival chairman Nathan Buck recently appeared on KTLO-FM’s Talk of the Town, and he recommends anyone wanting to attend the kick-off party should purchase tickets in advance.
