A Mountain Home woman, 50-year-old Sherry Dickerson, was taken into custody Saturday following a traffic stop near a Mountain Home motel where a Mountain Home Police officer observed her unable to control erratic movements and appearing to be under the influence of methamphetamine.

Dickerson was a passenger in the vehicle and gave consent for a search of her backpack. Inside the backpack, the police officer located a glass smoking pipe with narcotic residue that had been used for smoking methamphetamine. A small amount of meth was also found in the pocket of Dickerson’s shorts. The substance field tested positive for meth.

Dickerson was transported to the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with felony offenses of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia for the use of ingestion of meth. Her bond was set at $2,500, and she is set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court later this month.
