MH soccer, baseball, softball teams to finish conference tournaments

Mountain Home High School’s baseball, softball and soccer teams are slated to wrap up conference tournament action Saturday.

The Lady Bombers’ soccer program will compete in the championship match of the 6A-East Conference Tournament. Mountain Home will be on the road as their opponent will be Searcy.
The Lady Bombers are the second-seeded team in the tournament. Mountain Home improved to 14-3-2 on the season with their semifinal victory Tuesday over Jonesboro.
Searcy is the top seed in the tournament. The Lady Lions advanced to the title match with a win over Marion.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Mountain Home boys’ soccer team will also be on the road to play for the championship of the 6A-East Conference Tournament. The Bombers will be matched up with Jonesboro.
Mountain Home brings a 16-1 record into the championship match. The third-seeded Bombers went to Searcy on Tuesday and defeated the second-seeded Lions.
Jonesboro is the number one seed on the bracket. The Golden Hurricane moved to the finals after defeating Little Rock Hall.
Action is set to begin at 3:00.

Mountain Home’s baseball team will have home field advantage for its last game in the 6A-East Conference Tournament. The Bombers will host Searcy in Saturday’s third place game.
Mountain Home is the third-seeded team in the tournament, and their record is currently 10-18. The Bombers fell at Marion in Tuesday’s semifinals.
Searcy is the number four seed. The Lions were sent to the third place game after losing to top-seeded Jonesboro.
The first pitch on Pitts Field at McClain Park is set for 2:00.

Mountain Home’s softball team will also play for third place in the 6A-East Conference Tournament, but their game will be on the road. The Lady Bombers are paired up with Jonesboro.
Mountain Home brings a 13-15 record to northeast Arkansas as the number four seed. The Lady Bombers lost at top-seeded Marion on Tuesday.
Jonesboro is the third-seeded team on the bracket. The Lady Hurricane fell at Searcy in the other semifinal.
