Library to offer software safety class

The Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County will offer two special sessions on the topic of ransomware, a type of malicious software. Industry expert Jason Chamberlain will present on how to keep one’s computer and data safe.

The first session, “Keep Your Business Safe Online,” is scheduled for Tuesday morning from 11:30 to 12:30. The second session, “Keep Yourself Safe Online,” will take place the following Tuesday, May 15th, from 10:30 to noon.

The sessions are free, but space is limited. Those wishing to attend can register in person at the library, by calling 870-580-0987, or online at www.baxlib.org.

The library is located at 300 Library Hill in Mountain Home.
