Out of nearly 100 video submissions and multiple callbacks, Twin Lakes Area native Alexis Ungerank was chosen as one of the 24-member Razorback Pom Squad, the dance team for the University of Arkansas (U of A).
In an interview with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, Underank expressed her excitement at the opportunity, as well as the process of applying to be a pom squad member.

The pom squad performs at U of A sporting events, including football, basketball and baseball, as well as university pep rallies. Practice for the pom squad begins at the end of July, leading into a team camp at the start of August. Ungerank will attend both and be a part of the pom squad for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Ungerank is currently a sophomore studying business management at U of A. She is the daughter of Mark and Hazel Ungerank and a 2016 graduate of Mountain Home High School.
