A local cheerleader will be going out of state to continue her career on the collegiate level. Mountain Home High School senior Katelyn Mahan signed a national letter of intent Monday to join the cheerleading and stunt team at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
Mahan says she decided to become a Bearcat after being approached by cheer coach Kayla Duffey.
