LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – A Little Rock man faces numerous felony charges after
officers discovered 14 pipe bombs at his home and two at his ex-girlfriend’s
home.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that 47-year-old James Patrick Huff was
arrested Monday on 16 counts of criminal use of prohibited weapons and a single
count of possession of firearms by certain persons.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says officers discovered the pipe bombs in
a container buried in Huff’s yard. Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Cody Burk says the
bombs appear homemade.

Huff has also been linked pipe bombs discovered last week at the home of his
ex-girlfriend, Angella Poole. A police report says Poole alleged that Huff
threatened and harassed her prior to her landlord discovering the explosives.

Huff’s mother alleges the pipe bombs belonged to her late husband.

Huff is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
