The Bull Shoals-White River State Park will be hosting a sunset kayak tour of Bull Shoals Lake on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00. The tour will be guided by a park interpreter and will follow along the shores and coves near Browns Beach. Additionally, the tour will involve looking at near rock formations, plants growing near the shore, and wildlife that call the area home.
All gear is provided, but participants are advised to wear clothes and shoes that can get wet, carry a water bottle, and bring a flashlight or headlamp.
Space for the event is limited. To register, call the James A. Gaston Visitor Center at 870-445-3629. The cost per adult is $20 and $10 per child for ages 6 to 12. Children under 13 must be in a tandem boat with an adult. The event will take off from the James A. Gaston Visitor Center.
