Mountain Home man injured in crash that killed two

A Mountain Home man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday morning in Boone County that killed two people. Anthony Paul Thornton was injured in the accident and taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Arkansas State Police say 18-year-old Tyler Smith of Wesley and 19-year-old Russell Campbell of Damascus were both killed in the accident.

The report indicates a vehicle driven by Smith was westbound on highway 62/412 west of Harmon when it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the vehicle driven by Thornton.
