The Grants told KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News they originally learned of the center after hearing about it on the May 11th edition of KTLO’s Talk of the Town. After learning the shelter needed donations to be completed, the Grants answered the call. Curtis Grant explained the reason he and his wife Priscilla decided to make their donation.

Bob Davis is a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. Following his time in the service, Davis worked at his father’s blacksmith shop and helped out on the family farm. He later met and married his wife, Virginia.

In addition to being a place for disabled and homeless veterans, the center will feature work opportunities, as well as educational programs.
