Teen ejected in 1-vehicle accident

A Mountain Home teen was ejected from his vehicle Wednesday afternoon when it traveled off a country road into a ditch, struck a culvert and flipped over coming to rest on the driver’s side.

According to the report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Noah Lawhead was traveling south on Baxter County Road 27 when the one-vehicle accident occurred.

Lawhead was reportedly transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment of a non-incapacitating injury. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

Lawhead was cited for carless or prohibited driving. The report notes the road was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the 4:48 p.m. accident.
