The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation has named a man from Mountain View to the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Jim Hinkle’s work with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the National Wild Turkey Foundation earned him the distinction.
Hinkle is a former Game and Fish commissioner, and he served 14 years on the board of the National Wild Turkey Foundation, including serving as the foundation president. During his time on the foundation, he worked towards the expansion and improvement of wild turkey habitats throughout not only the United State, but all of North America.
Hinkle will be inducted into the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame at a banquet August 24th in Little Rock.
