Two teenagers from Gainesville were injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Douglas County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Cheyenne Lee and 13-year-old Anna Lee were both taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
The report indicates the accident happened when a vehicle driven by Cheyenne Lee traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
The accident occurred at 12:20 Friday afternoon on highway AB, eight miles east of Ava.
