Kelsie Guiltner of Mountain Home entered a guilty plea to a number of drug-related charges and was given 12 years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Guiltner and a codefendant were involved in a number of sales of methamphetamine to a confidential informant working with law enforcement in January last year.

On March 22nd last year, Guiltner and the codefendant were arrested based on the January drug sales.

At the time of her arrest, Guiltner was reported to have 8.1 grams of methamphetamine packaged in two separate plastic bags, four Suboxone strips, an Oxycondone pill and a pill identified as Dilaudid in her possession. In addition, Guiltner had an “unknown orange powder” hidden in her bra.

There were 16 counts in the case against Guiltner, including using a cellphone to orchestrate the drug sales.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Guiltner and her co-defendant had multiple prior felony drug convictions.

It was reported to the court Guiltner had completed the Care Center Ministries program dealing with her addiction. Judge Gordon Webb told Guiltner he hoped the program had equipped her to “successfully get through your rather lengthy probation period.”

The court also ordered the forfeiture of property seized from Guiltner and her co-defendant. The complaint in the forfeiture action listed a fifth wheel camper, a vehicle and $918 in cash to be turned over to the state.
