A Mountain Home man, 36-year-old Duane Nolan Burr, has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of delivery of methamphetamine. Burr was one of two men arrested when a search warrant was served Thursday morning on Circle Drive.

Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says the second individual arrested at the residence is 37-year-old Brandon McFarland.

Burr’s charges also included felony counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution near certain facilities, and a misdemeanor count of theft by receiving. His bond was set at $40,000.

In February, Burr was arrested after officers served a search warrant at a residence along Circle Drive in Mountain Home. Officers located a quantity of a crystalline substance, smoking pipe with methamphetamine residue, one black bag with pipes, straws and digital scales with narcotic residue. Burr was not present at the time of the search. He turned himself into law enforcement later.

McFarland was arrested for a probation violation and a felony count of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,500.

Agencies involved in the search warrant and arrests include the Mountain Home Police Department, Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force.
