The Bank of Salem will host the Mark Thomas Memorial Apple Pie 5K Run on Saturday. The race features computerized timing and results will be available immediately following the race. Online registration is available at https://app.regwiz.io/register/applepierun/402 .
The pre-race entry fee is $15 and $20 on the day of the race. Those who do not have Internet may contact Sherry Jackson at 870-895-6226 for assistance in registering.
All runners and walkers will receive a specially designed race t-shirt. Engraved wine coolers will be presented to the top male and female runner and gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to remaining places in each division. Additionally, the first 20 persons to finish the race will receive a homemade apple pie.
All participants must check in between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning at the registration table on the north side of the Salem court square. The race begins promptly at 8:00 in the morning.
