LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – A crime lab has identified skeletal human remains
found in a Little Rock park as those of a teenage woman who had been missing
since 2015.

The Arkansas State Crime Lab reported the remains found Tuesday morning in a
drainage pipe at Chalamont Park were those of 18-year-old Ebby Steppach.

Little rock police Officer Steve Moore had said the find resulted not from a
tip, but from “gut instinct.”

The woman’s car was found at the park on Little Rock’s west side days after
she went missing on Oct. 24, 2015.

There was no statement on what caused her death.
