MH Police Department participating in Click It or Ticket

The Mountain Home Police Department is participating in this year’s Click It or Ticket event underway this week.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration kicked off this year’s Click It or Ticket week with “Border to Border (B2B),” a one-day national seat belt awareness event coordinated by participating state highway safety offices and their respective law enforcement liaisons. Arkansas is one of six states who participated in the initiative. The B2B event was held Monday and commenced Click It or Ticket week, which runs through June 3rd.

In Mountain Home, the maximum penalty for a seat belt violation is a $90 fine.
