Capitol NashvilleLittle Big Town will start spreading the “Summer Fever” next Wednesday.
Not only will Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet host the CMT Music Awards that night, they’ll also open the show with their new song. You can tune in to watch the fan-voted awards live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, starting at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.
Karen is one of the co-writers on “Summer Fever,” which was produced by Shane McAnally and recorded in Los Angeles.
“I dare you to sit still when this song comes on…it’s impossible,” Shane says. “I don’t even dance, but something comes over me when this thing kicks in. I can’t wait for the world to catch ‘Summer Fever.’”
“Summer Fever” will be available to stream or download next Wednesday as well.
