It’s taken quite a while, but the 73-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and his backing group have finally started rescheduling the concerts they were forced to postpone last year when Seger had to undergo surgery to treat a ruptured disc in his neck.

So far, new dates have been announced for 13 of the 19 shows that were postponed. The series of rescheduled gigs kicks off November 24 in Kansas City, Missouri, and is plotted out through a February 23, 2019 show at The Forum in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, California. More dates will be announced soon.

The 19 postponed concerts, which were to have been the final dates on Seger’s 2017 North American trek, had been scheduled from a September 30, 2017 show in Columbus, Ohio, through a November 17 performance in Chicago.

Tickets to the original dates will be honored for the rescheduled shows, while additional tickets are on sale now via BobSeger.com, LiveNation.com and the various box offices.

With the new shows, Seger will finally get the chance to celebrate the release of his latest studio album, I Knew You When, with his fans. The record was released in November of 2017.
