A charge of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements has been dropped against a Searcy County man, 29-year-old Matthew Ribolzi, arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in early January.

Online court records indicate the order to nolle pros the charge was filed earlier this month by Circuit Judge Gordon Webb. According to the three-line order, “From the statements of the parties and other matters now before the Court, the Court finds that the charges shall be Nolle Prosed.”

Ribolzi was arrested after it was discovered he had been staying at Hillwood Apartments #8 in Flippin.

Online court documents from the Administrative Office of the Courts indicates Ribolzi was convicted of internet stalking of a child in 2013 and sentenced to 120 months of probation for the offense.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Ribolzi is said to drive a BMW motorcycle and a silver minivan. A check with Searcy County authorities indicates Ribolzi had not notified them he was staying in Marion County. Searcy County authorities also said Ribolzi had advised them he did not drive any vehicles.
