Courtesy of StarVista LIVE!A couple more memorable disco-era acts — The Spinners and Rose Royce — have joined the lineup of the star-studded Ultimate Disco Cruise, which is scheduled to boogie across the Gulf of Mexico next year.

The cruise will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on February 14 and will stop at Key West and Cozumel, Mexico, before returning to port on February 19.

From 1970 through 1980, The Spinners scored a dozen top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including “The Rubberband Man,” “I’ll Be Around,” “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love,” “One of a Kind (Love Affair)” and the chart-topping 1974 duet with Dionne Warwick, “Then Came You.” Rose Royce reached #1 with their classic title tune to the 1976 film Car Wash.

Previously announced artists who will be performing as part of the floating music festival include KC and the Sunshine Band, Kool & the Gang, Gloria Gaynor, The Village People, Tavares, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Thelma Houston, The Trammps featuring Earl Young and former Chic singers Norma Jean Wright, Alfa Anderson and Luci Martin.

Deney Terrio, one-time emcee of the Dance Fever variety show and the man who taught John Travolta his dance moves for the classic 1977 movie Saturday Night Fever, will host the cruise.

KC and the Sunshine Band will play one special show during the cruise, on February 17.

In addition to the many music performances, the cruise will feature artist Q&A sessions, celebrity-hosted happy hours, theme nights and costume parties, dance classes and parties, talent competitions, game shows and a wine tasting.

Cabin prices start at $1,499. Visit UltimateDiscoCruise.com for more information.
