The Bull Shoals-White River State Park has opened registration for its Explorers and Adventurers camps. The nature camps are designed to introduce children ages 7-12 to the wonders of the natural world through various outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, fishing, crafting, nature programming, and more.

The Explorers Camp is geared toward ages 7-9 and runs from June 4th through the 6th. The Adventurers Camp is for ages 10-12 and takes place July 16th through the 18th. The deadline to register for the Explorers Camp is June 2nd and July 14th for the Adventurers Camp. The cost to participate is $75 per child.

Camp participants will be carefully supervised by park interpreters and volunteers. Parents and guardians are welcome to volunteer or call in advance to attend one overnight stay. Spaces for both camps fill up quickly, so park officials urge parents and guardians to complete a registration form and submit payment as soon as possible.
