Kevin Winter/Getty ImagesHere’s a unique piece of Whitney Houston memorabilia, to say the least. A Bible owned by the late singer is being offered for sale — for $95,000.

The memorabilia website Moments in Time is handling the sale of the Bible, which Houston owned while renting a home in Newport Beach, California, from 2009-2011.  The name of the broker site is a bit ironic, given that Houston recorded the hit “One Moment in Time” for the 1988 Summer Olympics.

The owner of the house Houston rented writes in a letter of authenticity that he found the Bible in a box after Houston had moved out.  Upon contacting her leasing agent, the owner was told he could the keep it and other items left behind, which included clothes and CDs.

The Bible features what appears to be Houston’s handwriting. A “marriage” page is completed in someone’s handwriting with her name; the name of her husband, Robert B. Brown; the date of their July 18, 1992, wedding; and the pastor’s name, Marvin Winans. Brown’s name is also listed on the “husband” page with his birthplace, Boston, Massachusetts.

The “births” page also records the name of Houston’s daughter, Bobbi K. Brown, and her birth date, March 4, 1993, in New Jersey.

The owner sold the home in 2012 and writes in the letter of authenticity, “I threw everything away except the bible which I thought was interesting.”
