Dave Brolan/Reel Art PressThe surviving members of Led Zeppelin reunited recently, but it wasn’t to rock and roll. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones came together to check out the working draft of their upcoming book, Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin, which will be published this October in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the band’s formation.

A photo taken in May of the three rock legends holding a copy of the draft has been posted on LedZeppelin.com, along with a message revealing that the 400-page tome is nearly finished.

The book features a career-spanning selection of photographs — many of them previously unpublished — and images of rare memorabilia from Led Zeppelin’s archives selected by Plant, Page and Jones, along with newly penned anecdotes and recollections by the musicians.

Many acclaimed photographers have contributed pics to the book, which can be pre-ordered at ReelArtPress.com.

As the publication date approaches, LedZeppelin.com will be sharing updates and sneak previews of Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin.
