The Calico Rock Museum and Visitor Center announced it will now offer the opportunity for visitors to take virtual tours of its museums. Those who visit the museum’s website can now tour all of its facilities and exhibits online.
According to communications specialist Cholie Crawford, the museum is excited to offer the option of virtual tours and the museum hopes to further utilize the latest technology to reach the local and wider community.
To take the virtual tour, visit the museum’s website at www.calicorockmuseum.com <http://www.calicorockmuseum.com>. The tour is best viewed using Google Chrome or Foxfire browsers, but can be viewed on Internet Explorer. It is also compatible with mobile devices and tablets.
The Calico Rock Museum System is made up of the Heritage & Visitor Center, the Tomlinson Art & Science Center, Easton Education Center and the Printing Press Café. All of the museums are open Monday through Saturday.
