Stewart Volland/AXS TVIf you can’t get enough of Eddie Money and his dysfunctional family, you’re in luck: Real Money, the AXS TV reality series focusing on the adventures of the Money clan, has been renewed for a second season.
The new season of Real Money will feature 12 episodes, two more than season one, and is expected to air in early 2019. Production on the new shows will begin sometime this summer.
The series takes a candid look at Money’s life with his longtime wife, Laurie, their five children — daughter Jesse and sons Zach, Dez, Julian and Joe — and the family’s many pets. Jesse, Dez and Julian perform in Eddie’s touring band, while Joe is also a musician and Zach, Eddie’s oldest child, handles the family business.
The upcoming season of Real Money is expected to feature some surprise guest stars; new music from Eddie, Jesse and Dez; and new career endeavors from Zach and Joe. In addition, some new pets may be joining the family’s eight dogs and one cat.
In a statement regarding Real Money‘s renewal, Eddie says, “The kids are thrilled, so is ‘Buddy,’ our dog. I’m glad everybody is enjoying our entertaining and talented family…although my wife still doesn’t think I’m funny. I only wish I would have shot Real Money 10 years and 10 pounds ago! Ha!”
Adds AXS TV executive Evan Haiman, “Eddie and his family really resonated with our viewers, shining a light on the highs, lows, and hijinks behind the multi-platinum stardom. AXS TV is proud to welcome the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll family back for season two.”
