Smokey Robinson to perform at Special Olympics 50th Anniversary concert in Chicago

ABC/Image Group LASmokey Robinson is among the artists who will headline a concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics that will take place July 21 in Chicago.

The event is being presented by Grammy winner Chance the Rapper, a Windy City native, via his new production company, Social Function Productions. The rap star has posted a poster promoting the show on his Instagram feed.

Pop singer Jason Mraz and rock band O.A.R. also will perform, with more special guests to be added for the show soon. The Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert will take place at the Northerly Island amphitheater in Chicago.

This year, the Special Olympics are being held July 1-6 in Seattle.
