The Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Week wrapped up Saturday on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and a recent Mountain Home graduate was recognized following her performance in the Farris Center.
Hannah Pfeifer represented the Lady Bombers in the girls’ basketball contest and was named the outstanding player for the East squad. Pfeifer shot five-of-nine from three-point range and ended up with 15 points. Norfork’s Marleigh Dodson also contributed five points for the East. The West took home the 86-79 victory.
Another area athlete scored in double figures in the boys’ basketball game. Skylar Young of Harrison ended up with 11 points for the West. The East dominated the game with a 124-87 victory.
