ABC/Lou RoccoDolly Parton already has one star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but she’s about to get another.

The Country Music Hall-of-Famer accepted her original honor in June of 1984, and next year, she’ll get a second as part of an all-female super-group.

“Thank you Hollywood Chamber Of Commerce…” Dolly tweeted. “So honored to be returning to the Hollywood Walk of Fame — this time as Trio w/ my best friends Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris.”

Dolly, Linda and Emmylou released their platinum Trio collaboration in 1987, and followed it up with Trio II in 1999. Two years ago, both albums were re-mastered and re-released with an extensive collection of alternate takes and never-before-heard tracks as The Complete Trio Collection.

While this is Dolly’s second star, it’s a first for both Harris and Ronstadt. In fact, it gives Dolly a special distinction among all the celebrities on the Walk of Fame.

Dolly explained in a short video she shared on social media: “Now they tell me that I’m the first person this century — the first woman — to have two stars. But of course that’s natural.”

She joked, “I like to do things in pairs, if you know what I mean!”

Faith Hill will also take her place in the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019. So far, we don’t know when either unveiling will take place.
