A pair of Mountain Home High School anglers are in Florence, Alabama, for one of the biggest fishing events in the country. Bomber bass team members Courtney Barron and Dawson Tunstall began competing Wednesday in the Student Angler Federation High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship on Pickwick Lake.
Barron and Tunstall, along with boat captain Ty Bowman, are one of over 300 teams competing in the four-day event. After Friday, the field will be cut to 31 teams for a one-day playoff to decide the winners.
