Sunny Martini Shania Twain‘s NOW Tour kicked off in early May and will be going strong until it wraps just before Christmas in New Zealand.

Now, you can get a glimpse at how the Canadian country/pop superstar put her new show together, in a new video that takes you behind-the-scenes during the nearly month-long rehearsal period that led up to opening night in Tacoma, Washington.

Shania’s creative director, Rob Sinclair, says Shania had a very distinct vision for the NOW Tour.

“Shania came to me with this quite well-formed idea,” he explains, “for a show that’s all based around this idea that people don’t have to be there all the time, that people can be constantly moving, people would pop up in unexpected places.”

In the end, Shania believes all the hard work was worth it.

“Once we get in front of the audience and they go ‘Yay!’,” she says, “that makes every day interesting and worthwhile.”

Tuesday night, Shania plays the first of two dates at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario, before doing a two-night run at AirCanada Centre in Toronto on Friday and Saturday.
