ABC/Image Group LA If you wonder how Lauren Alaina feels about her career in show business, all you need to do is check out her new lyric video for “Three.”
The moving ballad about her life since American Idol has long been a concert favorite, as well as the emotional center of her Road Less Traveled album.
“It’s my favorite song I have ever written, so it was very important to me to get the lyric video just right,” Lauren says. “I wanted the video to be very personal and tell the story behind the song even more. My family, fans, and boyfriend are all a part of the video, and they are all a part of the reason I wrote the song.”

On Wednesday, Lauren will sing her chart-topping hit, “Road Less Traveled,” backed by the National Symphony Orchestra and an all-female drum line, live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. You can catch her performance starting at 8 p.m. ET on A Capitol Fourth on PBS.
