Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) has received recognition by a website that assists college graduates with their career choices. Zippia.com has ranked ASUMH number one out of 22 community colleges in Arkansas for post-grad employment.

Chancellor Dr. Robin Myers says the recognition is a big honor, and it shows everyone at ASUMH is doing what they can to help the students.

The Zippia.com study used the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) reviewing each junior college in each state, looking specifically at employment levels at year 10 after students start. They added the total number of people employed and unemployed 10 years after entry then divided the employed number by the sum.

Dr. Myers says IPEDS is a system all colleges use to report employment data.
