Lockeroom sweeps through pool play, advances to championship bracket

The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team was able to sweep through pool play of the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The Lockeroom defeated the Bartlesville Indians 5-3 on Friday.

Hunter Wojcik picked up the win on the mound as he struck out five batters, and Brady Smith was credited with the save. Offensively for Mountain Home, Caleb Johnson had two RBIs, and Dylan Reynolds and Samuel Stower each drove in an additional run.

The Lockeroom again faces the Indians in the semifinals of the championship bracket Saturday afternoon at 3:00, and the winner will play for the title at 5:00 against either Springfield Kickapoo or Enid, Oklahoma.
